When it comes to the most iconic video game characters of all-time, it’s no contest as to who takes the top spot. Mario? Link? They’re small potatoes compared to the khana of the kitchen, the sultana of simmering, the culinary queen of a thousand recipes — La Madre. And it appears that soon, her Royal Deliciousness will be gracing the Switch for the first time, as a Cooking Mama title has been spotted on the Australian ratings board.

Titled Cooking Mama: Cookstar, the entry has also been rated for Nintendo Switch in Germany, and would be the first entry since the 2017 3DS entry Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop. Other details are sparse, but we can assume that it will provide the same bountiful batch of delicious dishes to cook as always. Just don’t let that pot boil too long!

We’ll be sure to update with more details when the time comes. In the meantime, you can check out one of the many extant Cooking Mama games on DS or 3DS, or wait for her inevitable Smash confirmation that is definitely happening.
