The Pokémon Company’s next mobile venture is just around the corner, with the company opening up pre-registration for the smartphone app on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The latter lists the app as “expected August 29, 2019”, but there’s always the chance it could launch sooner.
Like, for instance, in Singapore and Canada, two regions which will be seeing a soft-launch of the game. It won’t include all of the features, but you’ll be able to get to grips with the mechanics, and progress will eventually transfer to the full game once it launches.
