Earlier this month a “Future of Digimon” panel was held at Anime Expo, and in it attendees got to see the opening movie for the upcoming strategy RPG Digimon Survive. It’s now been uploaded by Bandai Namco officially, and you can watch it below:
No Digimon show up, outside of a few scary eyes and the ending shot, but it definitely sets the stage for a bunch of high school kids heading out on a field trip that is sure to be more eventful than they expect.
Digimon Survive launches for the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.
