A round of Pokémon Sword and Shield news will be arriving via Japanese variety show Pokénchi on Sunday, July 21st.
The information was made known thanks to Pokémon news site Serebii.net, which states that the July 21st episode of Pokénchi will contain “the latest information” on the two games.
Serebii.net does go on to clarify that it isn’t clear “if this will be brand-new information or if it will be a repeat of recently-revealed information.”
The Pokénchi variety show has offered new information and footage from Pokémon titles in the past, most notably for Nintendo 3DS games Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon during their development period.
It was through Pokénchi that fans received one of their first peeks at Pokémon Sun and Moon’s battle UI as well as Alola regional professor Kukui’s pet Rockruff.
