Pokémon is a series full of rumors, especially in the early days. In Gen I alone, we had MissingNo. and Mew, and right there with them (for me, at least) was Surfing Pikachu. I’d hear about how the Electric-type could lay into enemies with the powerful Water move and wonder how such a thing could even be. Event-only moves may be commonplace now, but if you want to celebrate the original, the Pokémon Center has you covered with a whole Pokémon Surf collection of goods.
Mascot plushes will be available for not just Pikachu, but Slowpoke, Marshtomp, and Oshawott as well. Others are also getting in on the fun, like Greninja, Alolan Raichu, and Mantine (who pretty much is a living surfboard at this point, courtesy of Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon). If you’re after a new beach day tote bag or you just want to slap a few cute stickers onto something, this collection’s the perfect selection for the season.
