Last year, Dragon Quest Builders was one of many well loved and welcomed port additions to the Nintendo Switch library. Whether you’ve been a longtime fan of the franchise or you just know about Slimes, you’ll no doubt enjoy this spinoff that lets you explore the world while having fun with building mechanics. Described as Dragon Quest meets Minecraft, the mashup worked extremely well — so much so that we have a sequel coming out soon.

Releasing on July 12th, this new adventure has added on co-op play and building for up to four friends. With 11 days to go, this new video covering the multiplayer features has been released by Square Enix.

A hefty character customization menu and the ability to build anything your mind can think of with the help of friends sounds like a relaxing, yet productive summer vacation. Be ready to craft your own creations later this month when Dragon Quest Builders 2 is finally released for North American audiences.
