As we move further and further into the HD display era, there are more and more solutions for those of us with retro collections to play our games via more modern means, ranging from emulation to pass-through devices. Eon Gaming is one company that’s devoted itself to providing HDMI solutions for old consoles – last year they released the GCHD, which was an adapter that upscaled GameCube games through HDMI, and now they’re doing the same with the Nintendo 64.

Named the Super 64, Eon Gaming promises the dongle will upscale to 480p through standard HDMI, provide lagless input, and won’t require modding your system. There’s also a button for “Slick Mode”, which softens edges.

The Super 64 will retail for an MSRP or $149.99 and can be pre-ordered via CastleMania Games.
