Today marks the release of Samurai Shodown on consoles other than Switch. Nintendo faithfuls may still have a bit of waiting to do ’til winter, but here’s something to hold them over in the meantime! In celebration of the release, a new trailer was dropped featuring the game’s whole playable roster.
Alongside that, the full set of DLC characters was formally announced. A special launch promotion is offering them for free for early adopters on PS4 and Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch hopefully following suit come its release. The four characters are the previously showcased Rimururu, Basara, Kazuki Kazama, and Wan-Fu; all returning Samurai Shodown characters.
Be on the lookout for more info on the Switch release in the coming months, and if you’re already taken with the game, be ready for it to take the stage during Evo 2019 this August.
