Nintendo Treehouse spotlights the old and new Trials of Mana | Nintendo Wire

One of the most surprising revelations from yesterday’s Nintendo Direct was the announcement that Seiken Densetsu 3, the unlocalized Super Famicom follow-up to Secret of Mana, would finally be released in the west as Trials of Mana. Not only that but it’d be released in two forms – after the Direct the original game was available as part of the Collection of Mana, while next year will see the release of a full remake.

Nintendo Treehouse Live shared some gameplay footage of both games, eventually showing the same boss in both games and confirming tidbits of news like English and Japanese audio in the remake. Give it a watch:
