With its release just a matter of weeks away, Super Maker Maker 2 has had a relatively muted presence at this years E3, but Treehouse Live saw three whole segments devoted to the game.

The first segment saw the franchise’s veteran developer Takashi Tezuka provide some insight as the team dived into the story mode, the tutorials, and more. It’s the perfect starting point if you’re still curious how the game unfolds!

After that we got another demo that instead took a closer look at one of the levels developed for the Super Mario Maker 2 Invitational, where the Super Mario 3D World level tools were shown off as different segments were tweaked.

The final demo focused on Super Mario World, and let us know we can swap out the playable character to Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Toadette or any time. If you’ve been curious how the snow levels will play out, be sure to give this one a watch!

Super Mario Maker 2 launches worldwide on June 28th!
