Not content to release a trailer for just one game this E3, a brand new trailer for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was shown off during Nintendo’s E3 Direct. Revealing several more characters to play as, we got a quick look at several villains in addition to the Black Order, including Doc Ock, a Destroyer, Mysterio, M.O.D.O.K., and Surtur. Magneto is shown wielding an Infinity Stone against Surtuer, and several other playable characters were also introduced.

First shown off were some new supernatural heroes — Elsa Bloodstone, a monster hunter, and everyone’s favorite flaming skull, Ghost Rider. Following this, Elektra was quickly on screen, followed by several more heroes from teams all across the Marvel Universe. From the looks of it, the roster of heroes for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 seems to be absolutely massive, The quick montage shows off the Nova Corps, Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Ms. Marvel, Thor, several X-Men, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and of course, the Avengers. The trailer ends with Thanos gathering all of the Infinity Stones, flashing to a quick reminder of the game’s release date: July 19th, 2019.

After fading to black, a quick confirmation of DLC was shown off, mentioning that content from Marvel Knights, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four will be available starting Fall 2019.
