I had high hopes for June’s NES additions, what with the likely E3 overlap. Yet here we are with three titles joining the online lineup on Switch that feel a little lacking. That’s just my take though, so have a look for yourself:

It’s not that any of them are terrible, it just feels like an off month without a big Nintendo centerpiece holding it up. Alas; City Connection, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, and Volleyball will be coming to the NES Online service starting June 12th. Expect to see an SP join in, and check them all out for yourself next week.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.

I have to agree. I expected more for the first of the last 3 months of the NES classics to be released ( just a theory i have. I expect the NES games to stop in September.). But regardless of how i feel about the games they are part of the history of the system and I like getting free games every month. And TBH it has given me a chance to some that i would never had tried.
