While the Nintendo Switch has games from seemingly every genre in existence already, there is one notable exception – the MMORPG. There are plenty of big online games to be sure, like Warframe, but few that follow the traditional mold, especially outside of Japan. That’ll finally change this summer, as DC Universe Online has been announced for the system.

Originally released for PC and PS3 back in 2011, and later ported to the PS4 and Xbox One, DC Universe Online is a free-to-play MMO with years worth of content. It has you assume the role of a new hero or villain in the DC Universe and gives you the chance to explore famous locales like Metropolis and Gotham, while meeting iconic characters along the way.

DC Universe Online launches for Switch this summer.
