An accompanying press release confirms that it’ll be produced by James Wan (Aquaman) and be the film directorial debut of Simon McQuoid.
Pre-production will begin next month, with the full scale production starting later this year, suggesting we’re still some ways off from seeing it. There’s no word on whether it’ll have an impact on the rumored animated series.
