Terraria has been in the pipeline for Switch for a while now, and it looks like it’s almost ready to go. As part of the broad monthly check-in across all platforms, the game’s devs provided updates about how the Switch version’s development is going.

In short — they’re close to finishing things up, focusing more on QA and refining some of the changes, such as the melding of traditional and touch support inputs. They’ve also completed an initial submission/pre-check with Nintendo, meaning that the Big N has tested the game for themselves to see if it’s stable. Basically, all that’s left is quashing a few bugs and cleaning up before the game is sent out to the masses.

Terraria on Nintendo Switch currently has no release date, but we’ll be sure to provide one when that information becomes available.
