Final Fantasy concerts are nothing new – I attended a beautiful performance in the Distant Worlds series last September, for example — but usually they consist of a smorgasbord of music and melodies from across the series. Now we have the first concert dedicated to a single game, as Final Fantasy VII – A Symphonic Reunion will be alighting upon Hollywood’s Dolby Theater on June 9th, just in time for E3.

Given the date and location, this certainly stokes the fires of speculation as to whether the FFVII remake will be at E3, but we don’t want to suggest this to be definitive proof of anything. Either way, it’s sure to be a wonderful evening for attendees, with tickets going live on April 20th and starting at the cute-yet-upscale price point of $77.77. Wording implies that the concert will return at some point in the future, though only this initial premiere is outlined.

Stay wired for news on other potential concert dates in the future.
