Here we go again with another Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event to give this weekend a theme. This time around it’s a wizard’s best friend, a mage’s number one mate, the understated but arcane splendor of the staff. No baton twirling or wand waving here, this weekend’s about to give you a wooden leg to stand on.

Expect plenty of Fire Emblem healers and indubitably gifted old timers like Toadsworth to take up the Board’s spots. If you wish the game had a little more Golden Sun, at the least you’ll see some familiar faces this time around too. This one’ll kick off this Thursday night, the 11th, and give you a chance to give your clerics and clergy their due.
