In the days when the 3DS eShop was my favorite digital marketplace, one set of games I’d always turn to was the BoxBoy! series by HAL. The devs who brought the world Kirby introduced a cute, simple hero of another shape who was more into puzzle platforming than typical running and jumping. Now he’s on his way to Switch, and Nintendo UK has a trailer sharing some of how this square rolls.
Co-op’s the main addition here, but this home console and HD debut of Qbby & Qucy looks so clean in its simplicity that I’m sure it’ll be a must-have for digital shoppers on Nintendo Switch. Be ready for BoxBoy! + BoxGirl! starting April 25th.
