Latest Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster trailer focuses on the pre-rendered cutscenes | Nintendo Wire

Just over a week to go until Final Fantasy X and its sequel finally make their playable debut on a Nintendo system, and Square Enix has launched a new trailer that focuses heavily on the story, specifically the Tidus and Yuna pairing.

The trailer features zero gameplay, instead focusing on what was once state-of-the-art pre-rendered cinematics (which still hold up today!)

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster launches on April 16th.

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
