We also got the first ten of forty titles that’ll be included on the system. They are:
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Puyo Puyo Tsu
- Shining Force
- Castlevania: Bloodlines
- Powerball
- Gunstar Heroes
- Comix Zone
- Rent a Hero
- Space Harrier II
- Mado Monogatari I
Of these we only knew Sonic 2, Puyo Puyo Tsu, and Shining Force due to these entries besting others in their series via fan polls. There’ll be thirty more games joining these, and with the system coming to America and Europe as well it’s likely the line up of titles could change (Mado Monogatari having never been localized in English, for example).
Finally we have the consoles release date: September 19, 2019. Sega does love their nine based console launches and this one’s no different. Expect word on the Genesis Mini to come soon as well, and look forward to further title reveals as we get closer to fall.
