One year ago the Switch gained its first Kirby game, one that’s grown over time to become a worthwhile celebration of Nintendo’s spherical superstar. Plenty of Dream Friends have joined in, but for Kirby Star Allies’ first birthday it’s time to spotlight three Helpers who’ve been with the series since day one. A special illustration’s been shared with Kirby front and center, but he’s been busy with the Friend Hearts to make sure that trio’s all together with him;
 


 
Poppy Bros. Jr., Broom Hatter, and the irreplaceable Waddle Dee have been around since the first Kirby’s Dream Land all the way back on the Game Boy. It’s a fitting tribute to a legacy that’s been going for nearly 27 years now, and a perfect excuse to spend a little time playing Star Allies today.
