Fire Emblem as a series is no stranger to dramatic themes, from the fervid accordions of Awakening’s “Id” (Purpose) to the sweeping dramatism of Fates’ “Lost in Thoughts All Alone.” And while the series usually opts for its classic Fire Emblem Theme as a game’s main tune, we’ve gotten a sample of the main theme for Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which is the most “anime opening” of any FE theme song yet.
Presumably playing when you boot up the game, it features show-stopping lyricism, techno beats, and the exact musical structure of something you would hear when starting a Tales game. If you told me it was performed by LiSA in Japanese I wouldn’t be surprised. Either way, it’s a definite slapper and worth a listen:
