Indie publisher Alliance has announced that the action-horror platformer Overwhelm, originally released on PC in June 2018, will be heading to Switch on April 4th, 2019, complete with an exclusive co-op mode.

The game is run-based, with one hit kills and three lives per attempt. The game’s unique hook is that rather than gaining power-ups from bosses yourself, upon defeat they spread their abilities to the typical enemies scattered around the world, meaning the more you progress, the more dangerous the world becomes.
