If you ever want to face a tidal wave of emotions, the indie game To the Moon is a great way to induce it. Now, it’s been announced that the game is bringing those feelings to Switch this summer.

Originally made in RPG Maker and released back in 2011 to critical acclaim, To the Moon follows a duo of scientists as they enter the memories of a dying old man to reconstruct them. While it’s very light on gameplay mechanics, the story is beloved, and it has since spawned two sequels – the short “A Bird Story” and the fully fledged “Finding Paradise”.

The Switch version is essentially being remade by X.D. Network in Unity, and you can check out how it looks in the trailer below:

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
