We’ve known about Crystal Crisis for what feels like a long time, and we even got a taste of it at PAX West this last year. The competitive puzzle-fighting action of this game that’s bringing characters from corners I’d never have expected is calling to me more and more every day, and this latest reveal is yet another pleasant surprise.

After days and days of showing off the game’s characters, the 20th addition to the cast was revealed as Umihara Kawase. Hot off her time in Blade Strangers and with a new Nintendo Switch title coming soon, Studio Saizensen’s angler works well for Crystal Crisis’ style. Keep your eye on this one and be ready when it drops on May 28th.
