It’s always interesting to see developers take a well-established genre and turn it on its head. Take Magic Scroll Tactics for example – on the surface is has many similarities to turn-based tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics, but rather than playing on an isometric “board”, you take a side-on look of the battle, where elevation plays a much more important role.

The game, which originally released on Steam in April 2018, is being ported to Switch in the west soon, and you can check out the trailer below to see its unique take on the genre:
 

 
You’ll be able to grab Magic Scroll Tactics via the eShop in North America and Europe on February 7th.
