Out of all the announcements that made up today’s Indie Highlights reel, none were more surprising than CrossCode, at least if you’ve been following the game’s developers. Fans have been wishing for a port for some time, but the developers at Radical Fish Games expressed the difficulty of porting the HTML5-developed title to the console. Thankfully, it looks like that hurdle has been crossed, as CrossCode is now heading to Switch sometime this year.
Welp, it looks like Hedgehags learned to fly. #CrossCode for #NintendoSwitch is now confirmed as seen in the recent @NintendoEurope #IndieHighlights showcase! To arrive sometime this year. https://t.co/qLKoCkFvJ7 pic.twitter.com/gnr83vNHmi

The game is an action RPG with graphics styled after the 16-bit generation, and it’s seen a very positive reception on Steam since it launched out of Early Access back in September.
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long before we can play the game on the go!
