If you’ve exhausted the Switch’s many, many retro-inspired titles, or are just on the market for a new blast to the past, then you may want to clear out your plans for February 8th. Developer Joymasher is partnering with Digerati to bring Oniken and Odallus to modern consoles, starting first with the Nintendo Switch.

Oniken is based on side-scrolling NES games, drawing heavy inspiration from the likes of Ninja Gaiden and Battletoads.

Odallus, while also drawing on the NES for inspiration, has more in common with Ghosts’n Goblins and Castlevania.

Both games will be available to download on the Switch eShop from February 8th. Play-Asia will also be offering a limited-edition physical bundle of both games.
