Today NetherRealm Studios brought out the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. After its Game Awards 2018 reveal, fans were left waiting for more, and its big announcement event didn’t disappoint on that front. With plenty of severed heads, severed faces, and full-on bisecting, it’s Mortal Kombat at its finest:
Joining the game now are classics like Sub Zero, Baraka, and Sonya; more recent additions like Skarlet, and a brand new character named Geras. Liu Kang and Kung Lao were also spotted in the trailer, though the playable build at the show only features the five previously mentioned characters, as well as Scorpion and (Dark) Raiden.
You can look forward to more on Mortal Kombat 11, including info on its gameplay and story, between now and its April 23rd release.
