The first Sonic Adventure had a lot of strange turns. This is the game that added a shooting robot going through an existential crisis and a simpleton cat fisherman trying to rescue his best friend (who is also a frog), all surrounding an ancient water monster. And somehow, in the midst of all that, Tails managed to sandboard down a desert slope, the aptly named Sand Hill. This somewhat out of nowhere section (and its music) is making a comeback though, in the much more fitting Team Sonic Racing.

The new arrangement keeps a lot of what made the original track distinct. The vocal samples, for one, as well as the driving bassline and synths, all work for the newly christened Sand Road.
