One of my most favorite titles last year was The Messenger, Sabotage’s surprise indie hit full of ninjas, time travel, and plenty of pixel perfect action. Full of content on its own, it looks like we’re about to be drowning in a bit more thanks to an upcoming DLC expansion washing ashore next year.

The Picnic Panic DLC will bring new stages and bosses (and music!) in a standalone chapter of the game. No date was given, but that video alone’s got me thinking about revisiting the game as-is, before this first free download comes along in 2019.
