We already had an idea of how Nintendo would close out the year with Switch Online’s NES game selection, but now it’s official. December’s batch of games includes Adventures of Lolo, Ninja Gaiden, and Wario’s Woods.

All three games have endured over the years, but in slightly different ways. Lolo’s characters made the jump over to the Kirby franchise and have stuck around there ever since, while Ninja Gaiden has become a timeless classic in the eyes of many. Wario’s Woods, meanwhile, is notable for being one of the very last NES games released, and one of Toad’s few starring roles before he donned his Captain’s headlamp.

You’ll be able to play all three games starting December 12th. Don’t be surprised if we see another “SP” version of a previously released game, too, as they tend to sneak up on us.

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
