To the uninitiated or suitably cynical, Fire Emblem’s Super Smash Bros. representation can feel awfully samey. Lots of blue hair, lots of swords, and lots of counters are par for the course here. Even its Assist Trophies have been sword wielders — until now, that is. Enter Tiki, a refreshing deviation into a different Fire Emblem staple: Manaketes.

By harnessing the power of a Dragonstone, Tiki changes from her human-like form to a large dragon capable of coating the stage in fire. While she takes her designs here from Fire Emblem Awakening, Tiki as a character dates back to the first game in the series where she fought alongside Marth and his allies. And she did it without a sword.
