There’s just three days to go ’till the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the countdowns continue. This time, it’s Fire Emblem’s turn, with some help from Bayonetta.

Both the Fire Emblem Heroes and the standard Japanese Fire Emblem accounts feature their own images, though the former is a bit more interesting, recreating a Castle Siege battle with its familiar chibi stylings.

As for Bayonetta, the image comes from Platinum Games’ Yusuke Hashimoto, the director of the Umbran Witch’s first game and the producer of her second. Rodin’s shiny head also makes an appearance!

With presumably just two more days worth of images to go, we’re excited to see what other artists are joining in on the fun!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
