If you’ve ever blown up a Prinny or watched your stat ceiling climb higher than the stars, Nippon Ichi Software America wants to know what they should work on going forward. A new NISA survey from the company is asking fans what they think of their flagship franchise and where they’d like to see it go next. It’s always interesting to see when a company invites this kind of open feedback,– and with how the series has represented itself on Switch, I’m definitely interested in seeing what the future may hold.
Personally? I’m all about crossover fighting games; and if they can deliver something that takes the gorgeous sprites of the most recent games, the bombastic characters, along with how over-the-top things can get, I feel like they could have a contender. Disgaea wasn’t the only game they were asking about though, with Vanillaware’s magical and unique RTS GrimGrimoire standing out the most. If this survey can somehow lead to a HD remaster of that gorgeous game or even something else entirely, then it’s more than worth checking out for yourself.
