A new month is almost here and with it comes not one, but two new playable characters for Mario Tennis Aces. We already knew these two were on the way, but thanks to this pair of trailers we know when and how players will be able to take ‘em for a top-spin.
Petey Piranha is surprising no one as a Power character, to the point he’s slapping the ball around with his leafy limbs instead of a racket. He’ll be your December tournament participation reward, but he’s not coming alone.
Taking up a Technical style of play, Shy Guy joins the list of playable characters in December, too. He’ll be yours for participating in a new online doubles tournament option, rather than the usual singles (which is where you’ll get Petey). It’s the first doubled up month for Aces, and with more characters on the way in the coming months, we might have more two-for-one months to look forward to.
