Melee’s stages are some of the most iconic in the series, and some get that effect more than others. Fountain of Dreams gives me chills and Temple is the massive stage, and right up there with them is the original Pokémon Stadium. Long before Boxing Ring this was the most venue-like stage — and after sitting out Smash for Wii U (with its predecessor instead getting to join), it’s finally ready to re-open.

Just like before this one’ll cycle through four different terrains: Grass, Water, Rock, and Fire. Representing various Pokémon types, it captures the flexibility any good Trainer needs to have to come out on top. Be ready to roll with the shifts as best you can on this and many more come December 7th.
