As the year begins to wind down, it becomes more and more evident how one of its first releases — Matt Thorson’s platforming pinnacle Celeste — is going down in the annals of gaming history. And no small part of that is Lena Raine’s masterful soundtrack, which utilizes retro MIDI style to harrowing degrees to create a score of suspense, despair, and peace. And now that same soundtrack has a new arrangement album in the Prescription for Sleep series, which has previously contained albums featuring music from Undertale, the Mana series, and more.

This smooth jazz/lullaby arrangement features composer Norihiko Hibino (Metal Gear Solid, Bayonetta) and pianist AYAKI (performer for Etrian Odyssey and Persona Q) alongside violinist maiko and Lena Raine herself. It’s sure to provide some chill beats to relax or take a nap to, all for the low price of $10. You can also purchase a limited CD for $25 that includes a digipak, liner notes, and even a little comic and stickers. Both are available at the Scarlet Moon Records website.
