Any chance to spotlight Puyo Puyo, I take. While we were lucky enough to see a localization of Puyo Puyo Tetris last year, Japan’s already onto the next entry in the series. It might not be a true step forward, but it’s nice to see that the aptly titled Puyo Puyo eSports is based on giving fans everything they need to take their skills online. With just Puyo Puyo Tsu and Fever rulesets, it feels like a lite version of the much more feature-filled Tetris collab. Fittingly enough, Sega’s selling it at a steep cut for its first month in the eShop.

Priced at about $20 normally, the game’s debuting it at a 75% discount. For 500 yen (that is, just under $5) this sidestep of a release is a steal for anyone who likes competitive puzzle games full of cute characters. Thanks to the region-free nature of the Switch, you can pick it up at this low rate all the way until November 30th.
