Last week, Koei Tecmo announced that a deluxe version of Dynasty Warrios 8: Xtreme Legends would be heading to the Nintendo Switch in Japan. At the time we were unsure if the port would head overseas, as several previous Warriors titles have failed to make the leap over, but now it’s been confirmed that a North American launch is on the cards.

Xtreme Legends, which originally released for the PS3 in 2014, is an update to the original Dynasty Warriors 8, adding in new characters, weapons, a higher level cap and more.
You’ll be able to slash your way through the Switch version digitally on December 27th.
