Luigi may’ve already gotten a taste, but the newest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate item is ready to reap its way through the rest of the cast. Previously seen during the same Direct that revealed Simon Belmont and the rest of the known Castlevania content coming to the game, Death’s Scythe makes for a powerful new weapon anyone can use.

With a well timed smash attack, you’ll be able to outright finish any sufficiently weakened opponents. When that situation’s met the potentially affected enemies will carry a spectral purple glow, making them into perfect targets for the lucky wielder. In this way it comes off as a counterpart to the Home Run Bat, able to get easy KO’s with a bit of a wind up but pulling it off in different ways. Just look out, you never know when your own time might be up.
