The Tokyo Game Show was host to an Ace Attorney panel, which unfortunately didn’t contain any information on a new game in the series. But those who haven’t yet experienced the saga of intrepid lawyer Phoenix Wright now have another chance, as the HD port of the first three games in the series is hitting the Switch (and other major consoles.)

The Trilogy was previously available on 3DS and mobile formats, which makes sense as that’s where Ace Attorney traditionally makes its home. But now you can experience the series in a larger portable format than ever before, featuring snazzy new UI and some crisp visuals. If you haven’t played the series before or are looking to dive back in, this is a great way to do so! It comes highly recommended by myself and other members of the Nintendo Wire team.

The game will release sometime in 2019. No word on a Western localization yet, but it seems pretty much assured.. Stay wired for more details.
