Last Thursday it was announced that the latest Nintendo Direct would be postponed indefinitely due to the powerful earthquake that struck the Hokkaido region of Japan. Nintendo confirmed we’d hear more, but it seems like various sources are suggesting it was pushed back a week exactly.

Nintendo Life, which previously leaked the original Direct’s date and time ahead of the official announcement, is now reporting that it will now air on September 13th at 3 p.m. PDT.

This date may also be backed up by a tease from an unusual place – the official Twitter account for Platinum Train, a Japan-exclusive Switch game, has said a “surprise announcement” will be made on the same day.

We’ll be sure to let you know as and when an official date and time is announced.
