Starting this month Sega plans to start bringing classic games from its iconic library to the Nintendo Switch under the banner Sega Ages, with help from the well-respected port developer M2. It’s been revealed that this year’s TGS will have a stage presentation focusing on the initiative, on September 22nd at 15:10 JST. Here’s Gematsu’s translation of the description:

A Sega Ages development team discussion with the mysterious, retro game-loving artist MC8bit as a guest. Major title-related announcements are planned. Featuring Kazunari Shimamura (senior producer), Yosuke Okunari (supervisor), Naoki Horii (M2 president), and guest MC8bit.

We’ll have to wait and see what these announcements could be, but just a few days ago the arcade classic Space Harrier was confirmed for release. We’ll bring you the news as it happens.
