There was a time when simulator games in the vein of Goat Simulator were a dime a dozen, relying on quirky jankiness and random humor over charm to make their mark. Yet Untitled Goose Game (not a WIP title) from House House looks to be a breath fresh of air, being revealed during the Switch Indie showcase earlier today.

As the eponymous goose, your job is to do geese things — namely, be the biggest, rudest nuisance the town has ever seen. With a combination of stealth and sandbox elements, you’ll be tasked with several missions, from having a picnic, to stealing people’s hats, to other things that make these waterfowls notoriously jerkish. Of course, it’s a pretty open simulator at the end of the day, so if you just want to wark in people’s faces and then chase them around, then that’s your prerogative.

Untitled Goose Game will be on the loose sometime in early 2019. Stay wired for more coverage of the Nintendo Indie presentation.
