UPDATE: Annapurna Interactive has sent out an update via Twitter that states Gone Home’s release in both North America and Europe has been pushed back to September 6th. We’re report back with more updates about the game as they’re made available.

 

 


Games can be a lot of things, with recent years showing growth across several facets of the medium. When it comes to storytelling, Gone Home has always stood out for just how hands-off it is and the richness of its delivery. There’s no direction — just you in a house finding bits and pieces of your in-game past and present. Now you can add this one to your Nintendo Switch library, too:

 

 
Just in time for the game’s fifth anniversary, Gone Home will be arriving next week, on August 23rd. Highly rated across the internet, this is another great (surprise) get for Switch owners.
