While new fighters are always welcome, Ultimate has brought on a new phenomenon where we’re begging for Echo Fighters. Sakurai delivered this morning during the new Direct, with two fighters we expected and one big surprise.
For the likely two, Chrom and Dark Samus will now be selectable as Echoes of Roy and Samus. They make sense and look great, bringing more variety for Fire Emblem and Metroid fans.
As for the surprise, hot off Simon Belmont’s reveal for the game he already had an Echo Fighter in the form of his descendant, Richter Belmont!
Looks like the all of them belong in this world and will make our character select and amiibo collections grow.
