Back in June it was announced that the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection was going to be receiving a patch to fix various issues with the game. Other platforms received this fairly quickly after the announcement, with the Switch version left hanging. Now it looks like we’ve finally caught up, getting some fixes to the extensive collection of punchin’ game goodness.

As stated on Capcom Unity, the changes in this patch are as follows:

  • Akuma no longer playable in Ranked Mode for Super Street Fighter II Turbo
  • Street Fighter III: New Generation and 2nd Impact now output sound in stereo
  • Improvements for both online matchmaking and reduced lag
  • Various localization improvements

You can download this update now, and if you were holding back on picking up the collection, now’s the perfect time to Shoryuken across the whole series. You can pick it up on Amazon today!
