While various Nintendo franchises have been neglected over the years (where’s the Clu Clu Land love, Ninty?), few have suffered like the poor, starved F-Zero fans, who have had to rely on Super Smash Bros.’ continued celebration of Captain Falcon as their only source of acknowledgement for over a decade. Yet Sakurai and crew have never truly left the franchise to waste, as can be seen in this week’s music addition to the website, which is a rad, frankly ridiculous medley of F-Zero tracks.

The arrangement comes courtesy of Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, best known for his work on Virtua Fighter, Shenmue, and most crucially here — Daytona USA. That game’s iconic vocal renditions are aped here, as you can hear who is presumably Mitsuyoshi himself shout “F-ZEROOOOO!” in a sing-songy manner apropos of ’50s talk-show jingles. It’s simply incredible. Listen to it yourself below:
