Quite a few members of the Nintendo Wire team have spent a lot of hands-on time with the upcoming Let’s Go, Pikachu/Eevee! over the past two months, and we walk away with more things we like about the games every single opportunity we have to play them. One of our very favorite details about the titles and the accompanying Poké Ball Plus is the fact that the innovative controller lights up different colors according to the type of Pokémon that’s caught inside.

PR Manager Ricky Berg got an even closer look at the Poké Ball lights in action at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and he made sure to capture the variety of colors in all their glory at Nintendo’s booth.

Here’s a fun tidbit of info if you didn’t already know: The yellow and white lights represent Pikachu and Eevee, respectively, and the pink indicates a Mew has been captured.

We’ll continue to look forward to learning more about Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! as their November release date approaches. Stay tuned, as we’ll make sure to update you with the the latest news and our experiences with the games!
